From 16th September 2021, all funeral directors are legally required to publish a Standardised Price List, an Additional Options Price List, Terms of Business, a Disclosure of Interests and Local Crematorium Price Information.
We understand it can be difficult to work out exactly what you need, as a guide we can offer:
A simple cremation is a straightforward funeral with no ceremony and no-one attending. It includes bringing your loved one into our care, our professional services, a simple coffin, and transportation directly to the local Mendip crematorium at a time of our choosing. All third-party and cremation fees are included, with no hidden costs. Floral tributes are not included, and out-of-hours call-out charges may apply.
An intimate farewell ceremony at our premises for up to 20 people, with support from our in-house Celebrant to help you create a personal goodbye. This is followed by an unattended cremation at the local Mendip crematorium, with no service taking place at the crematorium.It includes bringing your loved one into our care, our professional services, a simple coffin and transportation directly to the crematorium. This option is designed to give families a dignified moment to say goodbye while keeping costs lower than a traditional funeral.Floral tributes, an order of service and press notice are not included.
A tailored cremation gives you the flexibility to choose what is included and create a funeral that feels personal to you and your family. It includes collection, care and preparation of your loved one, a coffin of your choice, a hearse, cremation fees and the officiant’s fee.The funeral takes place at a crematorium of your choice, on a date and time of your choosing, with a Funeral Director and four members of our bearing team in attendance on the day. You can also add personal touches to make the service more individual.The final price will vary depending on the choices you make, and a full estimate will be provided. Floral tributes, an order of service and press notice are not included, but we can arrange these for you and provide an estimate of the additional costs.

For a funeral that uniquely reflects your loved one’s life, we offer the flexibility to create a bespoke service. Please consult our additional price list for a starting point and contact us directly to discuss your specific wishes and requirements.
Our professional services include arranging the funeral and completing and delivering the necessary paperwork, along with sending confirmation to the officiant.
We will bring your loved one into our care from within a 25-mile radius during our normal working hours (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm). This includes care for up to 14 days; after this period, additional storage is charged at £15 per day.
While your loved one is in our care, we will look after them with dignity and respect, including dressing them in accordance with your wishes.
You will also have access to our 24-hour telephone service for enquiries, together with our advice, guidance and support throughout the arrangements and after the funeral has taken place.
No up-front payment or deposit required. Our standard payment terms request that the full balance is paid within 28 days from the date of the funeral. We accept all major debit and credit cards.
